- Abstract
- DISCLAIMER: This braille instructional program is currently obsolete for use in the British Columbia K-12 education sector. It is designed to support instruction in English Braille – American Edition (EBAE) and has not yet been updated to the Unified English Braille Code (UEB). While the overall sequence and scope of the materials may be informative, the obsolete braille materials and corresponding teacher materials have been removed. It is at individual TSVIs’ discretion to modify or update these materials so that they are compatible with a UEB instructional program. Braille FUNdamentals is a comprehensive program for teaching the braille code. This program can be used with beginning braille readers, as well as with those who need to learn braille when older. This is the first volume in the series and can to be used with all the Braille FUNdamentals levels. Includes: Overview, Cluster compontents, Before you start, How to use the Curriculum, Assessments, Appendix and Tracking practice. Please only request the level that is needed.
