- Abstract
- Adopted by the Braille Authority of North America, June 1988. Numeration systems, other than Arabic and Roman covered by the Nemeth Code, are encountered frequently in mathematics texts. They are often presented as early as the second grade, are used in later elementary school mathematics, and appear again in college texts for teachers of mathematics and in histories of mathematics. This addendum shows the braille notation for these ancient numeration systems.
